We made it through customs at the border Saturday, but we had to wait about 35 minutes. The lines were long and a couple of vehicles were ask to pull in to be further checked. The campground (Winnipeg) is HUGE; it is cool here too. The temperature this morning was 47 degrees when we got off to go to church. We were ready for church about the usual time as our church in Franklinton, but when we arrived at the church the sign indicated that services begin at 11 a.m. So, we went sight seeing a little while. We saw one of the oldest buildings in Canada or what’s left of it, St. Boniface. Then we headed toward a park that encompasses 400 acres; it has a zoo, conservatory, theater, and many gardens. Just as we found it, it was time to travel back to the church. After church and lunch at the camper, we’ll head that way again.

Monday we’ll be leaving Winnipeg and heading to another region in Canada. It was 45 degree this morning.

We’re here in Yorkton, Saskatchewan. It’s cool here, too! Tuesday we’ll head for Battleford, Saskatchewan.
