June 3, 2009 Whitecourt campground

Tomorrow we drive to Dawson Creek. The next day we begin the Alaskan Highway. Hope to have an internet connection along the way. In some places wifi is scarce.

We just entered some rolling foothills this afternoon. Most of the trip across Canada has been huge flat tracts of farm land. The average field seems to be 200 - 300 acres. They are HUGE.

Cathy and I are listening to C.S. Lewis' Chronicles of Narnia as we ride. They are truly some great books. We really miss having Blake with us. During former trips we would often play various games, it was more fun with three of us. We are limited mostly to dominos, scrabble, upwords, and yatzee.
