Our visit to Exit Glacier

This Glacier is 3 miles long and is only one finger of the massive Harding Ice Field.

They called this the toe of the glacier.

Just before Cat and I waded ankle deep through a very cold stream to get to the toe.

This shows how in years past the glacier scraped the rock smooth.

The valley below that was carved by the glacier. One hundred years ago this valley was covered by the Exit Glacier.

Moose or Caribou scraping.
